A Sorry, A huge Thank You! and real haxian Soundsnippets
First, we would like to apologize to everyone who was at the Rekwi-Festival for playing so short. We had more for you, but we had to pay for someone else's dawdling; so we had to leave the stage after just 30 minutes. That pissed us off even more than it did you. It also did not help when a fire-alarm got set off by a fog-machine behind the stage during change-over that locked away the drumkit for a while. We will come back to Franconia to play you some bloody ears though!
Of course there are positive things to report. The summer was a hell of a time! Thanks to all the fans that banged, sang and drunk with us at the concerts! Also Thanks to all the organizers and crews of the festivals, it wouldn't have been possible without you. May the Haxenmeischda come to all of you, you deserve it! ;-)
As already announced we are working on a new album with exquisite compositions from the deep dark woods. The first impressions are already on Youtube and there will be some more! Maybe not all of them will make it onto the album, but perhaps you will get an impression of the direction of march. We wish you all the best, and have fun!

Gigs and Studio
After being able to play both France and the Netherlands twice this year already, plus debastating various parts of Germany: Thanks to each and everyone we saw again or got to know!
After not playing live for nearly one year it feels good and just right being back on the road! Wouldn't been possible without the beer-gutted Screamer: Olli. I know we don't have any up-to-date pics with him here, but be assured we work on it.
Talking about work: we will use the next month to deep hide in the Black Forest to prepare a new blank with the help of some Mead and Haxen, so it can be forged during August and September. You have heard right, Finsterforst will hit the Studio again!
When, how and where the album with the unbelievable cool working-title "Album 3" will be available is still classified, but at least you can follow our Studio-Blog on Facebook. There you can also find pics, videos and comments to our concerts.
Besides from that, the next few months will bear some special surprises for you, so keep your eyes and ears open!

Hope to see all of you at some gig in front of the stage or at the bar!

Tour, Blog, News
First the bad news: Unlight will not be able to make the tour since singer and gitarrist Blaspherion had to cancel due to health reasons. Finsterforst wish quick and complete recovery!
So, Abinchova will show you what's good swiss-de Folk-Metal is at the Crash in Freiburg on December 25th!
Finally all the support-acts are fixed; you can find those under Concerts or of course on the respective clubs'-pages.
Be now even closer to the band and all what's happening! We've just established a brandnew-blog, both on Facebook and Blogspot!
And finally, Finsterforst got brains: the Uni-Radio echo-fm 88.4 airs a commercial for our tour-final at the Crash. Thanks echo-fm!

Festivals 2011
Something's going on in the deep dark woods!

After the gigs at the Hörnerfest, the Gahlen Moscht and the Cernunnos Pagan Festival we are glad to announce three more festival-shows in 2011. Finsterforst will blow your fucking heads off at the Barther Metal Open Air, the Rock for Roots and at the Rekwi Festival! Probably there will be some more...
Despite the upcoming winter we are already hot for the summer - and there better be some decent weather!

Ende der Zeit Tour with Trollfest, Pantheon I and Unlight
Finally you'll be able to experience epic heathen nights with Trollfest, Pantheon I, Unlight and us between 17th and 25th of December 2010! Right in the advent season, when you're fed up with all the christmas stress we offer unseen metal diversion - without leeching too much on your wallet.

We expect nothing but trve party with old and new friends, so show up and let's have a blast!

New album, new singer, new concerts!
Some may already know it, some suspected it but everyone wished for it: we will have a new silver disc in the stores for you from May 28th!
The Digi-Pack with shiny new artwork will consist of 2 CDs with the following ingrediants:
